    Lydeard Lawrence a small village in Taunton Deane area Somerset lying between Quantock Hills AONB and Brendon at about 120 metres above sea level.  sand">It is approximately  10 miles north west Taunton.  The parish covers wide includes several hamlets such as Westowe Pyleigh Westleigh Chapel Leigh.  were 318 registered electors 2007. The Tolland adjacent has its own thriving community.  67 2007.
